About Real Write and Stackwares

Real Write (realwriteapp.com) is a set of 25 writing and text-analysis tools that run in the browser, led by an AI humanizer that rewrites stiff drafts into natural prose. It is also available as an app for iPhone and Android.

Who makes it

Real Write is made by Stackwares, the independent app studio of developer Oliver Martinez in Bacolod City, Philippines. Stackwares builds mobile and desktop apps, most of them powered by AI. Questions and feedback about Real Write go to stackwares+realwrite@gmail.com.

Similarly named sites

Real Write lives only at realwriteapp.com and in the iPhone and Android apps linked above. It is not affiliated with real-write.com, writereal.online or other sites with similar names, and reviews of those sites are not about this product.

How the tools work

  • AI tools (humanizer, paraphraser, grammar checker, summarizer, email, tone, hook, bio, blog outline and report writers, sentence expander, sentence rewriter, punctuation checker, translator, consistency checker, citation and originality checker, AI detector) send your text over HTTPS to Google's Gemini model through Firebase AI Logic. Each request carries a Firebase App Check token that shows it comes from this site. The result is sent back to your browser. Requests are limited to 20,000 characters.
  • Local tools (word and character counter, words to pages converter, readability scorer, keyword extractor, filler word detector, passive voice checker, sentiment analyzer) calculate results in your browser and never send your text anywhere. Apart from the two counters, their rules (syllables, stop words, filler words, participles, sentiment word lists) are written for English text.
  • The IP address checker asks the ipapi.co service for the public address and approximate location of your connection.
  • AI tools can return their result in 18 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian.

Free use and Pro

Everyone gets 3 free AI generations a day, shared across the AI tools, without signing up. The count is kept in your browser, and the site creates an anonymous account there to verify requests; you can optionally sign in with Google. Local tools are unlimited. Real Write Pro removes the daily limit for $6.99 per week or $39.99 per year (advertised US prices). Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record; see pricing and the refund policy.

What happens to your text

  • Text you submit to an AI tool is sent to Google through Firebase AI Logic, only to produce your result; Google's Gemini API terms apply. Real Write does not store the text, and the daily count of AI generations stays in your browser.
  • Your tool history is kept in your browser's local storage, and you can delete entries there.
  • Uploaded .pdf and .docx files are converted to text in your browser before anything is sent.
  • Google Analytics records page views and tool events (which tool, word count, success or error), not the text itself. Dodo Payments processes payments; Real Write does not receive card details.

Limitations

  • AI output can be wrong or change details. Check names, numbers, quotes and claims before you use it.
  • AI detector scores are estimates of how AI-like a text reads, produced by a language model. They are not proof of who wrote something, and other detectors may disagree.
  • The citation and originality checker is an AI review of your text. It does not compare your text against the web or a database of published sources, so it cannot confirm that a passage is original.
  • The humanizer rewrites for readability and voice; it makes no promise about how any AI detector will score the result.
  • Translations are drafts. Have someone who knows the language review anything important.
